Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami today unveiled buildings, police stations and residential quarters for police personnel costing Rs 108.12 crore.
Through video-conference facility from Chennai, Palaniswami launched the newly constructed houses for police men and police stations, a government release said.
The chief minister, who also holds the Home department portfolio, unveiled 488 houses for police constructed at various parts of the State.

A new building for Royapettah police station in Chennai along with 25 police Stations set up across the state including Coimbatore, Dindigul, Kancheepuram, Namakkal, Ramanathapuram, Thanjavur and Theni districts were among those inaugurated by him on the occasion.
Senior government officials, including Chief Secretary Girija Vaidyanathan were among those who were present, the release added.
