TN CM, leaders pay tribute to Ambedkar

Tamil Nadu chief minister K Palaniswami and Leader of Opposition MK Stalin besides others today paid tribute to Dr BR Ambedkar on his 127th birth anniversary.

Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam garlanded a portrait of Ambedkar at Kodambakkam here in the presence of senior AIADMK leaders.

DMK Working President Stalin, accompanied by CPI state secretary R Mutharasan and VCK founder Thol Thirumavalavan, paid floral tributes to a statue of Ambedkar at Koyamebdu in the city.

TNCC President Su Thiruvanakkarasar, PMK founder S Ramadoss, DMDK leader Vijayakant and scores of other political leaders also paid tribute to Ambedkar.
