Tamil Nadu government today posted two senior IPS officers as Inspector General and Deputy Inspector General of Police, both newly created posts for election related duties.
SN Seshasai, Inspector General of Police, Enforcement wing and NK Senthamarai Kannan, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Tirupur were transferred and posted as IGP, and DIGP, Elections respectively, an official release said today.
Also, five other IPS officials have been transferred. Vijayendra S Bidari, Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli District has been posted as SP, Madurai District in the place of V Balakrishnan who has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mylapore, Chennai.
KS Narenthiran Nayar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mylapore will now be SP, TIrunelveli District in the place of Vijayendra S Bidari.
SR Senthil Kumar, SP, Krishnagiri District has been posted as SP, Namakkal District in the place of P Kannammal who will take over as SP for Krishnagiri District.
