TN retains trophy for top Flag Day collections

Tamil Nadu has retained its top position in the "Armed Forces Flag Day" collections by winning the "Highest Per Capita collection" award.

"Tamil Nadu achieved the first position in Armed Forces Flag Day Per Capita Collections for 2012-13," an official release said here today.

The Secretary, Department of Ex-Servicemen's Welfare, Ministry of Defence presented a trophy for the "Highest Per Capita collection," to Tamil Nadu at New Delhi, it added.

Tamil Nadu has been retaining this trophy since 2003.
