Toddler falls into borewell, rescue efforts on

A two-year-old boy today fell into an over 100-feet deep borewell while playing in Khamarpur Baijia village of Sirsaganj area here, police said.

The incident occurred when Kishan was playing in his father's agriculture field and fell into the borewell, they said.

Later, senior police and administration officials were informed about the incident and attempts are on to rescue the kid, they added.

Many senior officials, including the District Magistrate, have reached the spot.
