Hollywood star Tom Hanks has over 50 typewriters, which were made in the 1940s, and he loves using them to write his letters.
The 58-year-old "Saving Mr Banks" actor also said he wants antique typewriters as Christmas presents, reported New York Post.
When asked what he wants for Christmas, he said, "Antique WWII typewriters. Takes a repair guy a month to get them working, and I write my letters on them. I own over 50."

While he loves the old-fashioned way of writing his letters, Hanks is also an avid user of social media and recently used Twitter to thank a man who had found and returned his lost credit card.
"A guy named Tony found my credit card on the street in NYC and returned it! Tony! You make this city even greater! Thanx. HANX (sic)," he posted.
