Top North Korean official has arrived in New York: mission

North Korean senior official Kim Yong Chol arrived today in New York for talks on salvaging a summit meeting between US President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un.

A spokesman for the North Korean mission to the UN said Kim, described as right-hand man to the country's leader, had arrived aboard an Air China flight at New York's Kennedy airport.
