Top seed Vijay ease past Wishaya

Top seed Vijay Sundar Prasanth eased past Wishaya Trongcharoenchaikul of Thailand in straight sets 6-3 6-1 in the Justice P S Kailasam Centenary GNC ITF Men's Futures Tennis tournament here today.

Third seed Mukund Sasi Kumar beat qualifier Rohan Bhatia with a degree of comfort.

In other matches of the day, Aoran Wang of China outplayed qualifier Rashein Samuel 6-3 6-3, while compatriot Xin Gao outclassed Kunal Anand.

Russian Markos Kalovelonis, seeded seventh, succumbed to a strong challenge from another Chinese player Bowen Ouyang.
