Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat today launched a system, named 'Pathik', for tourists to help them obtain innerline permits online for visiting places of their interest in Uttarkashi district including Govind Pashuvihar (animal safari) and Gangotri National Park.
Launching the system developed by the Uttarkashi district administration via video-conferencing from here, Rawat said it will make it convenient for tourists to get a permit for visiting places of their interest where entry is restricted.
The move would boost tourist inflow.
He said other districts of the state should also be linked with the system.
