Traders protest on deteriorating law and order condition

Scores of city traders belonging to Sanyukta Vyapar Mandal (SVM) staged a protest at district headquarters against deteriorating law and order conditions and demanding early arrest of Vijay Goyal's assailants.

SVM spokesman Ashok Bhartiya told that a memorandum was handed over to District Magistrate Vimal Kumar Sharma demanding deployment of police constables at market places.

On the other hand a group of trader led by Uttar Pradesh Vayapar Mandal general secretary Shiv Shankar Rathi today met district police chief Dharmendra Singh and demanded an early arrest of assailants who fired at trader Vijay Goyal on Tuesday.

A 10 point memorandum including the demand for enhancing security of traders in various markets of Ghaziabad was handed over to police chief.
