Traffic Special SI commits suicide

A Traffic Special Sub-Inspector, who was upset by his transfer to the Armed Police wing, has allegedly committed suicide by hanging at his house near Thiruvattar today, police said today.

Police said Nataraj, who was working in the traffic police wing at Thakalai, was found dead by his wife who returned after work last evening.

Police said Nataraj, who was allegedly involved in a brawl while working in Azhagiamandapam, was transferred to the Armed Police.He had also received the order and allegedly committed suicide, they said.
