Chennai-Asansol Weekly Express today hit an autorickshaw at an unmanned level crossing between Sini and Kandra stations under South Eastern Railway.
"We are investigating whether there is any casualty, although there is no such report as of now," Senior Division Commercial Manager (Chakradharpur Division) Kasinath Biswas told PTI.
The incident took place at a spot between Sini and Kandra stations, about 50 km from here.
There was no disruption of rail services following the incident, he said, adding that further details are awaited.
