sector employee was knocked down by a train in Howrah district when she was walking along the railway track while talking on her mobile phone, the police said.
Sudeshna Das got down from a train at Bally station and was walking towards the Bally Halt station nearby.
As she was talking on her mobile phone, she did not hear the train approaching nor its whistle.
She was knocked down by a local train and was killed, the police said.
