A 30-year-old married woman, who was crossing the rail track, was mowed down by a speeding train near here, police said today.
Manjit Kaur was crossing the rail track at Chaheru last night when she was run over by Shaheed Express, they said.
Kaur's husband is settled in Bahrain, police said.
She had come to Phagwara to meet her parents who were residing in village Madhopur, they said.
