Tremors rock Andaman islands

A medium intensity earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter Scale hit the Andaman islands in the wee hours today.

According to National Center for Seismology, the earthquake hit the Andaman and Nicobar archipelago, known as a high seismic zone, at the depth of 10 kms at 2:02 AM.
