Dr BR Ambedkar was remembered on his 125th birth anniversary in the state today with political leaders including AIADMK General Secretary J Jayalalithaa paying tributes to the architect of the Constitution of India.
Jayalalithaa paid floral tributes to a portrait of Ambedkar while others including DMK Treasurer MK Stalin and MDMK founder Vaiko garlanded statues of Ambedkar.
Floral tributes were paid to the portraits and statues of Ambedkar in different parts of the state.
