Trinamool to study land ordinance before reacting

The Trinamool Congress today said that the party would study the ordinance to amend Land Acquisition Act before responding to it.

"The land ordinance has only just come into the public domain. We will examine it and then respond," party spokesman and Rajya Sabha member Derek O' Brien said in a tweeter feed.

The Union Cabinet today recommended promulgation of an ordinance to amend the Land Acquisition Act.
