Police recovered three almost

beheaded bodies today which were abandoned near a rail bridge here.

"It appears that the (trio was) killed somewhere else and the bodies abandoned here.

"Every attempt has been made to disfigure the bodies," IG Ashutosh Pandey said. The bodies were recovered in the highway police station area.

"The deceased have been identified as Ramendra Yadav (48), a resident of Jat Colony in Alwar, Rajasthan, Mukesh (35), a resident of Alwar's Nehru Nagar, and Arvind (30), who hailed from Mahendragarh, Haryana," police added.

According to their kin, the deceased had gone to Ajan village in Bharatpur district to attend a wedding.

Police have not ruled out murder in exchange for money, saying that the trio was helping youths to get selected in Rajasthan police and paramilitary forces.

A purse, a car and a mobile phone have been recovered from the spot where the bodies were found.

"Two teams have been formed to nab the assailants," said SSP, Akhilesh Kumar Meena.
