Tripura bowled out for 135, Assam 68/4

A total of 14 wickets fell as Assam bowled out Tripura for 135 before being reduced to 68 for four on day one of their opening Group C Ranji Trophy match here today.

At stumps, hosts Assam trailed the visitors by 67 runs with six wickets remaining in the 1st innings at the Nehru Stadium.

Manisankar Murasingh top-scored for Tripura with 47, while Sibsankar Roy (3/6) and Krishna Das (3/41) were Assam's most successful bowlers.
