Truck mows down two lying injured on road

Two persons, lying injured on the road after their motorcycle skidded, were mowed down by a truck here this morning.

The accident happened at Pali on Jaunpur-Bhadohi road, police said.

Nagendra Yadav, aged 28, and Chandra Shekhar (30) were riding a motorcycle when it skidded on the road, they said.

As they were lying injured on the road, a speeding truck mowed them down, police said.

The truck driver sped away after the accident, they said.
