Tusker on rampage in Nagrakata

A tusker was on a rampage at Nagrakata area of Jalpaiguri district today triggering panic.

Forest officials said the full-grown jumbo strayed into the tea labourer's belt early today and flattened seven huts.

Seven huts were flattened as a reult but there was no casualty or injury, the officials said.

Efforts were on to drive away the jumbo to its habitat nearby.
