Two AP Government officials in ACB net

Two Government officials were arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 in Andhra Pradesh's Vizianagaram district.

P Eshwara Rao, Revenue Inspector at Vizianagaram Municipality, was caught when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount through D Venkateswara Rao, a Bill Collector, yesterday, an ACB release said here today.

The bribe was demanded by the duo from a person for doing an official favour.

Both officers were arrested and the case is under investigation, the release added.
