The district police today arrested two persons for possessing country-made guns illegally.
Inspector Venkatesh of Jinnaram police station said Banoth Gangaram and Banoth Vithal, residents of Laxmapur Tanda in Jinnaram mandal, were arrested for illegal possession of arms. Two country-made firearms and four rounds were recovered from their possession.
Both were sent in judicial remand.
