Two arrested for poaching peacock

Two persons were arrested for allegedly poaching a peacock at Tuglakpur village here, police said.

Liyakat and Zishan were arrested yesterday and a body of the national bird and a gun were seized from their possession, they said.

The accused were produced in court later which sent them to 14 day-judicial custody, police said, adding that a case has been registered in this connection.
