Two booked for gangrape

A gang rape case was

registered against two persons on a complaint filed by a 23-year-old woman, police said here today.

The accused were identified as Sunny Ashnath and Vivek Sharma, they said.

The woman, a resident of Tikli village in Gurgaon district, in her police complaint alleged that in 2007 when she was pursuing some course in an institute in Delhi, she came into contact with Sunny, her classmate. Gradually, a relationship developed between them and they stared living together at Dharuhera in a rented accommodation.

She alleged Sunny exploited her sexually for about two years on the pretext of marrying her. Later, he pressurised her to get into a physical relationship with his friend Vivek Sharma.
 

Subsequently, the woman came to know that Sunny's was getting married to another girl, following which she lodged a complaint against him and Vivek.

A senior police official said efforts are on to apprehend the accused who were absconding.
