Two boys drown in Cauvery river
: Two boys drowned in the Cauvery river today at Kumarapalayam while taking a bath, police said.
The boys, aged 17 and 12, were taking bath under a bridge when they strayed into a deep pit caused by sand mining and drowned.
Their bodies are yet to be traced.
