Two boys go missing while swimming in sea at Vizag

Two boys swimming off the R K Beach here went missing this evening, police said.

Another boy who was with them was rescued.

The missing boys were identified as M Aditya and K Santhosh, both class-IX students and residents of Subhashnagar.

Inspector of Three-Town police station B Venkata Rao said that four friends from Subhashnagar area had come to the beach and three of them, Aditya, Santhosh and Chaitanya ventured into the water.

A strong current dragged them into deeper water. While Chaitanya was rescued by the community guard V Yellaji, two others could not be traced.

Police have launched a search operation.
 

Aditya is a student of Pen School at Akkayyapalem branch and Santhosh is student of St Ann's school at Butchirajupalem area in the city.
