Two brothers hacked to death

Two brothers were allegedly hacked to death over a petty dispute in Hardi area of the district, police said here today.

Ram Lakhan (60) and his brother Barsati (50) were attacked with a sharp-edged weapon by accused identified as Fauzdaar, his brothers Asharam, Siyaram and Ramesh in Teliyanpurwa Mithaura village late last night, they said.

Ten days ago, both the parties had a dispute over cattle entering their fields, police said.

Acting on a complaint of Barsati's son Ramu, the police have lodged an FIR and efforts are on to nab the accused.
