Two brothers murdered in Muzaffarnagar

Two brothers were murdered by some unidentified assailants in Mandi area here, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday when some unidentified assailants entered a building material godown, where the two brothers were sleeping, and attacked them with sharp weapons, SSP H N Singh said.

The deceased identified as Raj Singh (52) and Satbir Singh (57) were employees in the godown.

Their bodies have been sent for post-mortem and further investigation is on, police said.

In another incident, body of a 20-year-old youth, who had gone missing for a day, was found hanging from a tree in Atali village here yesterday, SHO K K Gotem said.
 

It is suspected that Manoj Kumar was hanged after being murdered, SHO said.

No arrests have been made so far, he said.
