Two brothers were today shot dead and another person were injured after unidentified men allegedly opened fire on them, a police official said.
Jaiveer (25) and his brother Raj Kumar (28) were shot dead inside their house in Bawli village this morning, Additional Superintendent of Police Vidya Sagar Mishra said.
When their neighbour one Brahm Sing attempted to nab the assailants, he too was shot at, Mishra said.
The ASP said that Singh has been admitted to the district hospital, where his condition was stated to be critical.
He said that although no formal complaint has been received, police has started an investigation into the matter.
