Two burglers arrested by Warangal Rural Police

Warangal Rural Police arrested two burglers and produced them before reporters here today.

Addressing in a press conference at the police headquarters, Warangal Rural Superintendent of Police Ambar Kishore Jha said that T Prasad (20) is from Khammam district and S Saibaba (25) is from Nalgonda district.

He alleged that they used to target locked houses and burgle gold and other valuables.

He said that the police had seized gold ornaments worth Rs 12 lakh, 840 grams of silver items, a laptop and DVD players.

He said that the burglers broke locks in nine homes and were involved in theft at Mahabubabad, Thorrur, Duggondi as well as Parkal areas.
 

The police fficial said that the burglers were arrested at Mahabubabad railway station based on a tip-off.

A case has been registered against them and investigations are on, the police official said.
