Two buried alive while desilting well in Tirunelveli district

Two persons were allegedly buried alive when a mound of earth caved in on them while they were desilting a well at Rautharpettai in this district today, police said.

Thangaraj and Arumugam, aged about 30, were buried alive when the earth caved in on them, they said.

A case has been registered and investigation is on, they added.
