Two car-borne alleged drug peddlers arrested
Two car-borne drug peddlers were arrested and 1.3 kg opium was seized from them, police claimed today.
Urban Estate Police Post in-charge Mukhtiar Singh identified the duo as Sarabjit Singh and Gajinder Singh.
He said the duo was arrested at a check-post near Urban Estate on Phagwara-Dosanjh Kalan road last night.
The arrests were made under relevant sections of NDPS Act, he said. The car was also impounded, said the police official.
