Two claymore mines found in poll-bound Jharkhand

Two claymore mines were recovered from a village in poll-bound West Singhbhum district by security personnel, a senior CRPF official said.
The claymore mines, each weighing 25 kgs, were recovered from Gundijora village under Chotanagra police station, Commandant of 197 battalion of CRPF, Nadim Ahmed Samdani said.
Acting on a tip-off, a search operation was launched in Saranda forest and the anti-personnel mines were found. The explosives have been defused by the bomb disposal squad, Samdani said.
Five constituencies in West Singhbhum district will go to polls in the second-phase of the five-phase Assembly election on December 2.
