Two police constables were killed in a road mishap on the national highway 27 near Raiganj today, the police said.
The accident occurred when the front tyre of their car burst and the vehicle hit a culvert killing the two constables.
One of them was driving the car.
The policemen were coming from Purulia to Jalpaiguri on transfer, they said.
