Two construction workers die in septic tank

Two construction workers were found dead in the septic tank of a house at Kamche village in Hooghly district today, a police officer said.

Officer-in-Charge of Goghat police station Prashanta Chatterjee said two construction workers Abdul Mannan and Ashok Dhauria were found dead in the septic tank of Uttam Ghosh's house.

Chatterjee said preliminary investigation reveals that the two workers died inhaling poisonous gas in the septic tank.
