Two minor cousins died of burn injuries when their relative allegedly set their house on fire over a land dispute here today.
Following an altercation between Reshma Devi and her relative Bhuvaneshwar Sharma on a land dispute recently, she had lodged an FIR with the town police station against Sharma a few days ago, police officials said.
In retaliation, Sharma set the house on fire in the wee hours after sprinkling petrol. While Reshma Devi's daughter Anjali Kumari (17) died on the spot, her brother's son Abhay (8) expired at a local hospital, they said.
Singh was absconding.
