Two dead as boat capsizes in Gomti river

A minor girl and a man died and six others were injured when the boat they were travelling in capsized in the Gomati river here today, police said.

Rikita (12) of Musafirkhana and Dayanand Shukla (42) of Faizabad died in the mishap that took place in the Bazar Shukul police station area, Circle Officer of Musafirkhana Sumit Shukla said.

The injured were rushed to hospitals in Bazar Shukul and Faizabad.
