Two dead, eight injured in bus accident

Two persons were killed and eight others seriously injured when a bus carrying a marriage party fell into a roadside ditch in Bhojpur district of Bihar today.

Bhojpur Superintendent of Police(SP) Navin Chandra Jha said the accident happened on Ara-Sahar near Banauli village in the district.

"The marriage party was returning to Jagdishpur in the district from a village in Arwal district after the ceremonies got over. The driver lost control of the vehicle which fell into a road side ditch. Two people died on the spot," Jha said.

The injured have been admitted to Ara sadar hospital, he added.
