Two dead, two injured in lightening

Two persons died and two others sustained injury after lightening struck them at Taldihi under Bamra block in Odisha's Sambalur district, police said today.

The victims had taken shelter under a tree in an effort to escape rains when the lightning struck yesterday, they said.

The deceased were identified as Adam Chhuria (25) and Jugal Topno (45), police said

The injured persons were first rushed to the primary health center at Bamra and later shifted to Sundergarh district headquarter hospital, they said.
