Two die in accidents

Two persons were killed

today in two separate incidents of road accident in Tezpur and Jamuguri of Sonitpur district, police said.

According to senior police officers, a businessman of Tezpur town Shashi Paul was knocked down by a vehicle while he was taking a morning walk near the DTO office.

In the other incident, a student Payal Das of Tezpur College died on the spot when her two-wheeler was hit by a bus in an area under Jamuguri police station.
