Two die, one injured in van-lorry collision

Two persons were killed in a collision involving a lorry and a milk van at nearby Tiruverumbur today, police said.

The milk van from Karur was stopped for unloading milk cans when the gravel laden lorry, also from Karur, collided with it, in which Dinesh (27) and Palaniappan (40) were killed.

The van driver, who sustained injuries, was admitted to hospital, they said.
