Two drown as tractor falls into canal

Two men drowned when their tractor fell into a canal in the district here, police said today.

The incident occurred last night on Pokran road where the victims identified as Baburam and Hakim were returning home on their tractor which skidded off the road and fell into the canal.

Villagers informed the police following which their bodies were pulled out from the canal, police said today.
