Two drown in Ganga in Bulandshahr

A 35-year-old man today drowned in Ganga river at Anoopshahr town in the district after he along with five others was swept away in the strong currents.

The incident took place in the morning when the group was bathing in the river. Four of them were rescued by local divers, while Lalit drowned, SHO Udaiveer Singh Baliyan said.

Lalit's body was later fished out from the water, while one other Mohit was not found by the divers and has been presumed dead, he said.
