A woman and her daughter
drowned while taking a bath in Rari River in Simrawa village here, police said today.
Shagufta (35) and her daughter Anam (10) were taking bath in the river when Anam slipped into deep waters.
Shagufta drowned while trying to save her daughter.
Their bodies were later fished out by locals.
