Two boys drowned in a pond and two others went missing after being swept away in separate rivers in Odisha's Ganjam district today.
The bodies of the two boys were fished out by fire brigade personnel from Dhobabandh at Jagabandhu Street here today, said Fire Officer, Berhampur, Satyapriya Behera.
The bodies of S Sagara Patra (14) and Mangulu Sahu (14) of Krishna Petta Street, who were part of a Ganesh idol immersion procession, were fished out after local people spotted them, he said.

In another incident, a 13-year old girl was swept away by the strong currents of river Loharakhandi at Jogimari near Bhanjanagara while taking bath, the police said.
Similarly, a 22-year-old youth was missing in the river Boda at Dhanjapalli near Belaguntha.
"We have searched different locations to trace them. The search operation will continue," said fire officer, Bhanjanagara, P K Jena.
