Two drug peddlers held

In separate incidents, two drug peddlers were arrested and 400 grams of intoxicating powder were seized from their possession here today, police said.

While Mangat Ram was arrested with 250 grams of intoxicating powder by a patrolling party at Onkar Nagar, Devinder Kumar was nabbed with 150 grams of similar powder by near Banga road here, Phagwara SP Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh said.

They were arrested under different sections of NDPS Act, Khakh said, adding that further probes into the matter are on.
