Two elephants found dead in Jalpaiguri

Two elephants were today found dead in different forest range areas of Jalpaiguri district, forest officials said.

While the body of one elephant was found in Panbari area, another was found in Upperkalabari this morning, Wildlife Warden Seema Chowdhury said.

The cause of death will be ascertained after postmortem, Chowdhury said.
