Two engineering college students killed

Two engineering students from Madurai were today killed when a tanker-lorry hit their motorcycle at Navakkarai on the city outskirts.

The dead have been identified as Manivelan (17) of Thirumangalam and Balashanmugam (18) of Sivakasi, first year students at a private college in Madurai, police said.

The lorry was proceeding to Kerala from here.
