A local court sentenced two persons to 10 years imprisonment in connection with a three-year-old gangrape case.
Additional District and Sessions Judge, Rajkumar Verma yesterday awarded 10 years jail to Rajendra and Satish for abducting a married woman, holding her captive and raping her on May 20, 2009 in Ghunghter area here.
After the ordeal, the victim was taken to Delhi by the duo where she was sold to a person. The woman somehow managed to contact her family and got herself released.
The court has also imposed a fine of Rs nine thousand on each of the accused.
